General Information
The WSU Sailing Team is a sports club of Washington State University. The team is for anyone who would like to sail, would like to learn to sail, or would like to race. The team regularly participates in collegiate regattas around the northwest racing other district teams like UW, Western, Oregon, and Oregon State. Sailing experience is NOT required and we encourage new members. Racing involves plenty of traveling on weekends around Washington, Oregon, and occasionally down to California, while also providing members with a competitive racing environment and lasting friendships within the team and the district.
 | The team sails and practices at Wawawaii Park on the Snake River. We currently have a fleet of 4 FJ's which are the typical boat sailed in collegiate racing. These boats are 2 person 14' racing dinghies. We also currently have 2 Alphas, 1 Escape, 1 Force Five, 1 Hobie 18, and 1 One Design 14. The majority of regattas are sailed in FJ's, though we occasionally race in Lasers for singlehanded competitions. |
The club is funded by dues, donations, grants, and university allocations. If you would like to support us by making a donation, please visit our donate page. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and would go towards travel to regattas, equipment purchases, and new boat purchases. Member dues are $40 per semester. This covers all travel to regattas and practices.

See you on the water,
